Our Support Programme

Together with providing individually suited NRT products, we also offer optional Smoking Cessation Clinic services in the workplace; these take the form of behavioural counseling and are aligned with the recommended NRT product suited to each individual.

On-site sessions

Our Clinics are available on a Group basis, or if preferred, can be taken individually. Our sessions are informal and friendly yet professional. Group sessions last for 45 minutes, and 1:1 sessions lasts approximately 10 minutes and is designed to give maximum support for those who have limited time.

The Smoking Cessation Clinics last for either 6 or 9 weeks, with the initial meeting being "pre-quit", where the Counsellor clearly identifies the attendee's motivation and level of addiction to increase the chance of stopping smoking successfully.

Identifying the crucial factors

Our professionals will help to identify the factors that may make quitting difficult, for example, for those who live with others who smoke, or any stress that is experienced in day to day life.

The perfect therapy & support

Based on the session's outcome, our professionals are able to recommend the most appropriate NRT product for that individual together with strategies to keep motivation going, correct use of NRT, sharing tips, monitoring CO levels, relapse prevention strategies, craving and withdrawal symptoms, and practical advice and support.

Support materials

A range of personalised support materials including Certificates are also provided as part of the NRT Direct Support Programme, including links to world leading cessation information.

Proactive text and telephone support

An individual service that can be used in conjunction with either Group or 1:1 support. Texts are tailored to an individual's prime motivation for stopping smoking and will be sent during the course of the quit attempt. Telephone support is available at pre-arranged times on a weekly basis agreed by the stop smoking counsellor and the employee.
